This is not yoga the way you probably imagine it to be. This is more about somatic work through gentle movement, in order to access the nervous system, and release embodied stress and emotions. This is done through poses and gentle sequences that anyone can do.
The programme was designed with you in mind. The practices I'm going to show you can be done in the moment you need them, and the regular exercises to build into a routine only take a few minutes a day. More often than not, you'll be "habit-stacking" them, so you CAN make the time to look after yourself, and get results. It would be counterproductive to add more to your to-do list! You just need to account for an extra 20 mins once every two weeksto watch the videos in preparation for the first 5 sessions.
WHAT IF I DON'T FEEL LIKE A SESSION, I HAVE SO MUCH ON?!
Then this is exactly when you need one! A lot happens in a session, but we do practice together and they will leave you feeling calm and relaxed. Being in a state of panic, triggered into "fight/flight" or "freeze" will keep you there and be counterproductive anyway, even if you feel you're "doing something". It's time to TIME OUT!
